Shoes, Shoes, Shoes

I tackled the job of going through our shoe bins today. I dumped them all in one big pile and got to work. This was the ones in the garage and we still had more in closets but the grand total of shoes was 103 pairs. I got rid of 11 pairs. I thought that was pretty good. In case you don't know we are a family of 6, not 12. Why do we have 103 pairs of shoes in this house?????

I can't stand shoes. There are way too many here, and then I try to keep track of Ruby's old ones for Alice to use, and I just wind up with way too many. Here's my shoe wardrobe: black and brown crocs, black and brown flips, black and brown heels and a pair of red ones for fun. THAT'S IT! I have two huge baskets full of shoes, how does it happen?

Whoa, Jodi! That is A LOT of shoes. Although, you have four girls in your house and girls need lots of shoes. You know, for capris, jeans, skirts, etc. Ethan rolls his eyes about this because he has like three pairs of shoes and Gillian has about 12. It's crazy but I can't help myself!
