cookies, cookies and more cookies!!!!

Today after church we decided to make some cookies. We thought we should triple the batch so we could give some to Sean's home teaching families and the three ladies I visit teach, a few friends and neighbors and the elderly man we visit in the nursing home every week. Needless to say we had way to much cookie dough and I had to figure out something bigger that we could mix it in. Sean went on a hunt and came up with the cooler. I thought it would work perfect since it was clean.(we did clean it out even more, although it looked clean for those of you enjoying our cookies right now) I didn't know we would have so much dough but we have plenty of cookies for ourselves, we also have some frozen cookie dough and we have 11 families that we delievered to. The kids had fun and were excited to drop them off. Brooke gave the Ward's who just had a baby one of her stuffed animal ducks and Jim Bolden that lives in the nursing home her frog.

Fun with the two girls.

Every other weekend when Kaylee and Connor go with their dad, Sean and I try to do something fun with Cierra and Brooke. Yesterday we was one of those days and Sean started by taking Cierra to her gymanstics class and then we went down to the supermall to ride the carousel and play on the toys they have at the mall.(Cierra and Brooke pick this to do most often) They both needed shoes so we got those and then got Cierra a lunch bag since she will now be taking her lunch everyday. After we left the mall we stopped by Mcdonalds and got two happy meals to go and then took the girls to my parents(someday we will repay you, mom and dad) house where they stayed while Sean and I enjoyed some time out to dinner with the Carvers.

Brooke is obviously more interested in smiling for the camera next to daddy!
Cierra said this picture is for grandpa because he loves Mt. Rainer!:)

They do love each other sometimes.

The 1st annual Woodcreek Landing Triathlon

Our neighborhood had it's 1st annual triathlon for the kids. Thanks to my neighbor Anna who put the whole thing together. It was a lot of fun for the kids and the were exhausted by the time it was all over. We started with the four and under age group. They started by running through the sprinkler and then running around the kiddie pool 2 times and then off to get dressed and get on their bikes for a ride down the street. And the last leg was to run down to the park. Brooke quit(I am so proud!-lol) after the sprinkler and wanted me to hold her.(Go figure) But for the most part, everyone did what they were suppose to. It was fun to watch.

Then the big kid heat started. They went in waves. They started by stretching to warm up and then everyone lined up at the pool and the first wave went. After going the length of the pool twice they were off to get dressed and to ride their bikes all the way around the neighborhood and then they had to run from the park down to the gate and back to the park. Kaylee took the Gold for her wave and Connor also took the Gold for his. Cierra took the silver! We are so proud!:) It was so much fun! Thanks Anna!

This and That

Kaylee got home last night from a trip to Seaside Holley and her family. The highlights of her trip were playing on the beach, swimming in the pool and shopping. Thanks Hampton Family for all you have done for Kaylee. She loved it!:)
Kaylee was so sweet to bring home gifts for all of us. Connor got a shark stuffed animal, Cierra got a sea otter stuffed animal, Brooke got a seal stuffed animal and Sean and I got sand dollars.
Cierra's most favorite thing to do is play with all her polly pockets. Her and Meaghan(the girl I have babysat for 5 years~like a sister to Cierra) will sit there and play for hours. They make little towns and play all kinds of fun things. I love to listen to them talking and it was hiliarious when I heard Cierra tell Meaghan as they were playing that she had to leave to go to her weight watchers meeting. I had to laugh at that one. I love this little girl even though she likes to challenge me everyday. She will be starting 1st grade in 6 days and I am excited for her. She will do so good. She loves to read and can't wait for the first day!

And this is Brooke, my little "pumpkin girl" being cute as always. I will have time to spend with her now that all the other kids are in school all day. We can do whatever we want. She will go to preschool 3 days a week and gymanstics and swim lessons and we will take walks to the park, and color together and play a million games of hi ho cherri-o and I will cherish every moment!

I have torn up my knee for the last time:(

Last night I had a double header in the pouring rain. It was fun but very wet. Sean and the kids were troopers and stuck it out until the bitter end. They were cold and tired when we got home and after peelingoff their wet clothes, were asleep in seconds. The games were at 8:20 and 9:30 so it was a late night. We lost our first game and won our second. We could have won both but we weren't playing very well the first game and then it kicked in and we won the second one 16-8.
The last play of the first game I was sliding into home and tore up my knee (again). I am so tired of this happening. I am going today to buy one of these sliding knee pads. The pain I am feeling in my knee right now is not something I enjoy. I will be ready next week!

Connor's Family Party

Last night my mom and dad and my sister and her family came over to celebrate Connor's birthday. We had pizza and cake and ice cream. We had a great time and all we were missing was Kaylee. She is in Seaside with her friend Holley until Wednesday. I miss her already and hope she is safe. I had a hard time saying that she could go even though I totally trust the family she is with. I just get paranoid and worry about little things. She said to me, "But mom, I will have my cell phone with me at all times and you can call me if you need to talk to me!" What was I thinking??? She is growing up too fast.

Noithing like getting cold hard cash for your birthday~Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!

Soccer Tournament all day long!!!

Connor played in a soccer tournament in Port Orchard today. It was a lot of fun to watch him. His team did a great job and Connor scored two goals. Grandma and Grandpa came to watch him also. It was a very long hot day but well worth it. We are all exhausted and ready for bed!

Connor turns 9:)

Last night was Connor's 9th birthday party. He had some friends over and they roasted hot dogs, played Guitar Hero and Wall-e on the Wii, ate cake and ice cream, opened presents, had a water balloon toss, played a little football and played hide and seek in the dark. It was a crazy 4 hours but the boys had fun!
