Connor's 10!

Connor has his 10th birthday on Friday and had 7 friends over to sleep in the tent in our backyard. The one day in August in happened to rain, and it had to be the night of his party. It was a bummer but they still slept in the tent although some of the kids got really wet. A few came in at 4am and then the rest at 6:30. They had fun anyways, because their boys!

We roasted hot dog and then marshmallows.

Connor got a new bike, a camera, 150.00, 3 gift cards, and a few other toys. I'd say he made out pretty good.

They had a great time playing Guitar Hero!

This was the next morning and AJ was a little out of it.:)

Everything was done on the trampoline per Connor's request!

Connor's likes his marshmallows a little crispy!

The boys!

The kitties have been doing good. They love to play with each other and sleep by each other.

Last night we went to High School Musical 3 at Bradley Lake. They show it on a big screen. It was fun but the kids got cold and we were ready to leave as soon as it was over.

Love is in the air!

Thursday afternoon Sean and I loaded up with our good friends, Jen and Josh and headed to Portland for Kelli and Scott's wedding. We had a great road trip and arrived safely without me getting carsick.(Dramamine is my new best friend!) We had a great dinner and then took a dip in the pool and then played a few card games.

The wedding took place at the Portland Temple and it was absolutely Beautiful.

The three amigos!

Coming out of the temple and they couldn't look happier.

gotta love the shoes!

Two great friends:

The wedding was on Saturday and it took place at Kelli's parent's house on Lake Tapps. It was amazing and when the reception was over they left in the boat with fireworks in the background. It really was perfect!

About 10 of us ladies got together on Wednesday night to make 944 truffles. This was the end product, although I couldn't even think of eating one at the reception.

Amy, Jill, Kim, Andrea, myself, Kaylee and Maria:

It was a fairytale wedding and I was so grateful to be a part of it all. It brought back memories of my wedding day almost 10 years ago. Time flies when your having fun..........and I am having fun!!!

Family night, Blackberry picking, and Sonic

Last night we went with the Conner family and some neighbors, Racheal and John and their two kids to the park for a dinner picnic. We rode our bikes with 9 kids and all the food and made it safely. We then rode our bikes over to the church to do some blackberry picking. We got a lot of blackberries and then we headed over to Sonic to get dessert. We had a great time but we wish Sean could have joined us. He was working hard to get a house ready for a wedding we are going to on Saturday.

one last birthday post!

Today after church we went over to my parent's for birthday dinner. We celebrated Kaylee, Connor and my birthday. Since we all have birthdays in August we do one big family birthday. We had a yummy dinner made by my mom. Turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, salad, broccoli and rolls. It was delicious! Thanks mom and Dad!

We also watched some old videos of the kids when they were little. I can't believe how much they have grown. Before I know it they will be grown and gone and then I will be sad!

My Birthday just keeps on going......

Anna planned a little get together for me for my birthday. It was a lot of fun. We met at Bradely Lake where they had mapped out a course to play Frisbee golf. We paired up and away we went. Afterwards we had root beer floats and Ben handed out prizes to the winners and a few other prizes they had. I had never played before so I didn't know quite what to expect but it was a lot of fun. Thanks to the Conner's for putting this on for me and to all my friends who came!:)

Don't pay attention to me in this picture. My eyes were closed and it was the only one we had of the whole group!

Ben is reading off the winners. Not a real shocker that Sean and I didn't win. I think the big winner was Jeff Nelson.
