Kaylee turns 15

Kaylee turned 15 on August 12th!  For her birthday we re-did her room. She did most of the work herself but I did help a little and grandma and grandpa came over to help set up her new bed. She painted her room blue and got a white bedspread with some fun blue pillows. She also got some other cute stuff and had fun re-decorating.
I still can't believe I'm old enough to have a 15 year old but I guess it's true. Kaylee is a real joy to have as a daughter and has a heart of gold. I'm a little nervous for the next year since she will start dating and she will get her drivers licence but I guess we shall see how that goes.... Two very scary things for a mom!  Kaylee started early morning seminary this year and so far she is doing great! She gets up at 4am Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and is there by 5:45.
(Yes, it takes her that long to get ready!)
Love this girl!
Happy Birthday Kaylee Breahna:o)

Connor is sporting the "metal mouth!"

A week before school started Connor got braces! He has needed them for a little while but having two in braces did not sound fun to me. Kaylee is about 3 months from being done (FINALLY-5 years later) so we decided to start Connor. That way, Cierra can start hers in about 18 months. Yep, that's right! All 4 of my children need braces! Crazy! I guess they are worth it, but Yikes that is a lot of money!
Connor has been a champ! He has had a few sore spots but other than that, he has done great! I personally think he looks cute with them:)

School has started once again!

School has started and the kids are finally settling into a routine. They were all excited to wear their new clothes and see all their friends. I'm sure they were happy to start learning again too.;)

Connor is now in 8th grade. His favorite things are playing soccer, riding his long board, hanging out with his friends and texting Ellie. He got braces the week before school so he is still trying to adjust to those. He can be such a sweet kid at times, at other times, not so much.......

Kaylee is now in 9th grade and was so excited to get back to school. She had a babysitting job over the summer and spent all of her money on clothes and makeup. She loves to hang out with her friends, text boys, play volleyball, watch you tube videos on fashion and listen to music. She has a real eye for fashion and always looks beautiful.

                                                        The two inseparable girls!
Cierra is now in 5th grade. She is in the Quest program at Zeiger for the 3rd year and she loves it. She has some good friends and she loves her teacher, Mrs. Addison. Cierra is a mother hen. She loves to help Anna(our neighbor) with her 5 kids and she is very compassionate. I love her personality even though we butt heads at times. I think we are a lot alike and that is where we clash! Cierra is still doing run club and has really improved. She has improved her mile time by about 2 and 1/2 minutes. She loves to go to Activity days, ride her bike, ride Connor's long board(don't tell him) and have movie night with the family!
                                                                 Cierra and Brooke
Somehow I missed taking a picture of Brooke by herself on the first day. She was having a little bit of a bad morning. Her hair was not cooperating and she insisted on wearing the hair bow that matched her dress.  Once she got to school, all was forgotten and she had a great day. Brooke is a big 2nd grader now and loves it.  Her new teacher is Mrs. Field and she is perfect for Brooke. She loves to read, play with her best friend Baylie, ride her bike and swim. We call her a fish because all she wants to do is swim. She loves to go to school but has a hard time deciding what to wear even though we pick it out the night before.

2012-2013 is going to be a great year. I love being a mom to these awesome kids. I consider it an honor and a privilege to raise them!!
