Another weekend come and gone.......

We had another busy weekend but that isn't unusual for us. Brooke and I got Cierra out of class on Friday and went to have lunch with Meaghan and her mom and grandpa to celebrate her VIP day. Meaghan introduced me to her teacher as her other mom and that is pretty much true. I have been watching her since she was about 18 months old and she has grown up with our family. She is a great kid and I was honored that she asked me to come have lunch with her!:)

Connor had a baseball game on Friday night so as soon as that was over we dropped the kids off at home and headed to the McComb's to celebrate Ander's 30th Birthday. We had a great time as always and enjoyed spending time with our great friends!

Look at the two lovey dovey's in the corner! I'm not spreading rumors but I think that may have some news!
the boys had fun playing water basketball. I had to pull Sean out of the pool so we could head home.

Cute girls and one cute lovable Ms. Sophie!

Two great friends, Jen and Jamiee posing for me!

Saturday morning I woke up and ran 12 miles with Kathryn. Wow! that was one long run but I did it and glad it was over. I wasn't so glad that I chose to wear heels when we went to the primary activity a few short hours later.(my feet were killing me!)

We did have a great time and loved walking around the grounds of the temple and seeing this beautiful place. The kids actually really enjoyed it as well. Unfortunately Cierra was at a birthday party and missed it. She had a good time at Bill's Fishing hole and caught 2 fish during the party.

Preschool Beach Day and Softball

Today was beach day for Preschool. All month the kids have been learning about all the sea creatures they would find out the beach and today was the day they got to go see them. Isaac Brooke and I headed out early to have a little lunch at the beach and then we were off to explore with Mrs. Spencer and friends!

This is a sun fish. The kids were excited to see this and it was the only one we saw the whole time.

This big crab wasn't happy that we were invading his space so we let him move on.

Mrs. Spencer was very good about showing all the kids the fun things she would find. This is a moon snail.

Brooke actually held it, which was a shock to me. She said it felt like Jello.

A very purple starfish!

This is so cute! I love it. I will show it to them again when they are married!

So much for keeping our feet dry!

Later in the evening I had a softball game. We Rocked! It was 13-7. We did really well. It was a fun game.

I guess this is my serious face before I hit a home run. Well, it would have been a home run if they hadn't caught it!

This is one of Brooke favorite things to do. We definitely got a money out of this toy and movie.

And that's all Folks.............for today. There is always tomorrow!

A beautiful day at Snoqualmie Falls!

We had a fabulous day at Snoqualmie Falls today. We hiked down to the bottom and played around on the rocky beach. The kids thought it was really cool. We hadn't been there since I was pregnant with Cierra.
I am so proud of Brooke. She walked the whole way down, which was a mile and then made it almost all the way up and then daddy gave her a piggy back ride because she had to go potty really bad. They all did really good with no complaining. Kaylee and I had flip flops on but we still made it. We were all wiped out when we got back to the car. We hit a the outlet malls and then headed for home. It was truly a perfect day!

Cierra brought her camel back and it came in quite handy when we got thristy!:)

Have you ever seen anything cuter? I know I haven't!

Of course there is an observation deck where you can see the falls but it is crowded and you can't see all that well. We hopped over even though it was a bit scary and went down where we could get a better view. We saw this sign as we were approaching .............oops!

This is when Brooke really had to go to the bathroom and we were not going to be using the disgusting honey buckets so she had to hold it until we made it back up to the top. This will be a memorable picture and I will always remember why she was crying!
As we got back on the trail, she soon forgot about going potty for awhile and walked with her walking stick Connor gave to her.

It was a beautiful day and everytime I turned around Connor was up another tree. Sometimes the girls followed so I could take a picture.

Everyone was sound asleep on the way home including me. I think Sean must have stayed awake because the next thing I know we are in our driveway.

I shouldn't show this because you might think I always let Sadie on the counter but I don't! I hate when she get's up there and I am always disinfecting the counters but anyways, I happened to catch her drinking Cierra's water this morning and it was kind of cute............
