Sadie, Hairstyling, Preschool, baseball, biking and Fishing, all in one post!

Sadie has been a great family cat. Everyone in the family absolutely loves him/her. Even Sean gets worried when we can't find him. He is the first one out looking. I think it is kind of cute, since he is not a animal person. That just goes to show you, what can grow on you if you give it a few months! Sadie has taken up hanging in the pantry and I decided that was ok as long as he is keeping the mice away. He did bring us a surprise into the house yesterday though and it was still alive. Luckily Connor caught the frog jumping under our table and let it go outside. It was in his mouth but must have hopped out! Yuck! I screamed.

The other day Sean got the royal treatment and got his hairstyled by two beautiful girls. He was so lucky!

Thursday was my last parent helper day. It was kind of sad because I really do enjoy going in and watching Brooke interacting with the other kids. Atleast I have one more year to do it before she heads off to Kindergarten.(sniff, sniff)

All the kids were tested on their jumping, skipping, and running skills. Have you ever seen a 4 year old try to skip? It was quite funny!

And of course, it was her day for show and tell. She brought Spot, the panda bear. She got really quiet but then she talked about it and let everyone pet him. It was so darn cute.

Connor (or should I say Sean) loves to play catch out in the street and if I can't find either one of them, I know to look outside for a ball flying thrrough the air.

This was Cierra's idea and Brooke loved it. They went up and down the street too many times to count. She has been playing so well with Brooke. It has been a nice change.

Saturday was the Annual Fishing Derby at Bradley Lake. So we all(minus Kaylee, she rather sleep in) got up at 5:30 and headed to the lake to meet my dad and the Gailey clan for a great day of fishing. The kids had a blast and we got 19 fish in all. Connor hadn't caught one fish and Cierra had already caught 4 half way into it but luckily the fish started biting Connor's line and he was able to catch a few. My Aunt and Uncle were also there along with The Green Family. It was fun to see them and eveyone got to catch a few fish.

Since Sean isn't a fisherman, we couldn't have done it without my dad. He is awesome. He baited hook, untangled lines, took the hook out of the fish and cleaned them all. We love you dad. Thanks for all your help!

Grandma claims that a fish talked to her once while she was fishing so now my kids are trying to get the fish to talk. I don't think Connor had any luck!
It was a little early for Brooke but for the most part, she had fun!

There was so many people all around the lake everyone was packed in. Lines kept getting crossed and tangled. It was a mess but we only had to cut the line a few times.

Brooke didn't know these worms were still alive and when she felt it moving she started to cry and then she dropped it.

Cierra won a camel back for catching one of the biggest fish although it was less than a pound. She was very excited about her prize. Shay got a Hannana Montana Fishing pole as a prize. Her fish was almost 3 pounds. It was pretty big. She was quite excited!
Last night Sean barbqued the trout and they were actually quite tasty!
It was a great day and we had perfect weather, now I can only hope that it is going to stick around!
