Last night I had a little get together for Anna's Birthday. Anna is my neighbor and my friend. She is the nicest person you will ever meet. She would do anything for anyone. She is just that sweet. She is the crazy one that got me into running.(if you can call what I do running) She is pregnant with girl #4 and is excited for the challenge. I hope you had a wonderful Birthday Anna!

Father's Day
This Father's day was a little different than the norm. Sean had to be out of town for work so he wasn't here. We were bummed when we woke up and had no one to make breakfast for in bed but we called him and wished him a Happy Father's Day and told him how much we miss him. Sean is a wonderful father and he has been missed dearly this last week while he has been in Pocatello for work. He works so hard for our family and we love him.
After church we went over to my parent's to celebrate my dad. We had Pizza(my dad's choice) and of course my dad played with the kids while my mom, sister and I sat and talked. My dad would give you the shirt off his back. He is so kind and loving. He has helped me with so many projects around the house and I know I can always count on him. The other day a drawer in the kitchen got stuck and Brooke said we better call Grandpa to fix it. She knows who does the fixing around our house.
I love both of these great men in my life and I am proud to call one my husband and one my Dad! Happy Father's Day to both of you!
Don't ask about my dad's face in this picture. I think he was smelling some stinky feet!

Last Day of school, Baseball and the Backyard!
Our backyard has been in serious need of some TLC, so Sean leaves out of town for a few weeks and I decide to take it on. What am I thinking? Apparently, I'm not so I have been working on it here and there for the last couple of days.
This is part of the yard before I got started:
My dad helped me pick up the play chips but I shoveled it all myself. My dad offered but he has his own projects at home so I let him get home to his own.
Cierra's baseball season is coming to end as well and so here is a few shots of her second to last game.
Brooke has plenty of friends to play with while Cierra is playing. 12 of the 14 players on the team all go to church with us so it fun to see all of our friends!

In memory of Sadie
It has been a roller coaster of a ride the last few days with Sadie. I guess I will start at the beginning............Last Tuesday night before we went to bed we called for Sadie to come in. He didn't come so we went out and looked for him. He was nowhere to be found so after about an hour we decided to let him stay out.(since he had done this once before) We left our bedroom window open so we could here him when he came back. He never came back and we looked everywhere for him. We put up signs all over and kept looking. Every morning we would come downstairs expecting to see him at our back door. Saturday morning we were up early for my race and as Sean opened Cierra and Brooke's window her heard meowing. He tore downstairs to find him on our back porch. We were all so excited, we couldn't believe he had come back. It was so exciting to see the kids so happy. As we watched him for a few minutes, we could tell he was hurt. We had Kaylee stay home with him while we went to my race and then took him right in to the vet. We had to leave him there because they had to take x-rays to see what was going on. I got a call about an hour later that ended all happiness. Sadie had been hit by a car and had broken his back left leg-hip in 5 different places. He let us know that it probably happened the first day or so that he was missing and he was probably trying to get back to us the whole time. It breaks my heart to know he was in all that pain. He couldn't even sit for more than a minute without trying to move to get comfortable again. We had to make a decision that was not easy, but we will always remember Sadie. He was the best cat ever and we have many funny stories about him in the year that we had him. I didn't realize how attached you could get to a pet until you no longer have that pet anymore. The kids were devastated and I think I cried for a good 2 hours. Sean was upset as well, even though he hates pets. That has now changed and after we are done mourning dear Sadie we will get a new kitten. So, that has been our roller coaster of a ride with our downs and ups and our back down again.
We miss you Sadie!
