We had our annual Block Party yesterday and as always, it was a lot of fun. We did the duatholon with the bike run race.
The firetruck came and talked with the kids and let them sit in the fire engine.
We played some fun games for the adults ans the kids. Connor loved being the one to play how many Cheetos can stick to your head. he won with 58 Cheetos.
A favorite from last year was, find the gummy worms in the chocolate pudding, Hailey won that one. This is the only thing Kaylee did and then took off to a movie with friends. I guess she is getting too old for this kind of stuff. (sniff, sniff)
Once it got dark enough, the kids settled in to watch the Muppet's and the adults sat around a fire and visited.
We also had a very yummy barbecue, had a water bounce house and did a silent auction to raise money for future block parties. A lot of hard work goes in to planning these, and it is totally worth it!
