I had the honor of of taking Snow White and Scooby Doo to the Pumpkin Parade at the YMCA. They had a lot of fun playing, doing circle time and then going on the long awaited parade around the Y where they got to trick or treat at different stops along the way.
This little girl brings me so much happiness everyday!

Swine Flu.....or not??
Brooke got really sick on Monday and I had to take her to the doctors. Three hours and several breathing treatments later we went home with a prescription in hand and was told she has the swine flu but they didn't test for it because she had the vaccine on Saturday and it would read positive even if she didn't have it. Her temperature was up to 103.6 and her oxygen level was 93(not awful but not very good either). We waited and they finally told us after her oxygen level went back up that she could go home and as long as she went pee in the next 2 hours she would be good, otherwise she would need to come back in for an IV. Thankfully she peed and was pretty good after the Motrin set in. She slept fine and and has not had a fever since. She has a cough and seems a little tired but that is it. I will see what tomorrow brings but I am really hoping that the worst is over and really it wasn't even that bad. She did throw up a few times after trying to eat on Monday but has been fine since. So was it the Swine flu.......or the regular flu or just a fluke reaction from getting the vaccine on Saturday?? Who knows? All I know is that I hope it's gone and no one else gets it!
Brooke is such a trooper though. She colored for a good part of the day yesterday and today and was still her happy self.
She did have a few coughs and has been taking her inhaler to loosen all the gunk up!
Hope you are all healthy and happy!

Family Night!
The kids have been waiting and waiting to carve their pumpkins. We were trying to wait so they wouldn't get rotten before Halloween so Sunday we finally did it. Cierra was the most excited and couldn't wait to get started. She did a lot of it herself and had a ball.
Brooke was excited until she looked inside and saw the mess and decided she was done!
She wasn't happy to see what was inside!
Connor was all about using a knife!
Kaylee just wanted to make sure hers was perfect!

Brooke's face meets the pavement!
Brooke was doing some wicked moves on the skateboard and lost her balance and this was the result. I thought it was going to be a lot worse. I'm glad it wasn't too bad but I hate it when my kids get hurt and you can't instantly take the pain away. Your so tough Brooke! We love you!

Cierra got the Responsibility award!
Cierra got an award at school for being Responsible. I am so proud of her. She isn't always a perfect angel for me but all her teachers have only positive things to say about her. I love this girl very much and think she is very special! Way to go Cierra!!!

A fun Saturday!
Sean got home on Friday night after being out of town for a week so it was a glorious day on Saturday spending time with the family. I started off the morning by going for a 7 mile run with Kathryn, Vivian and Carrie. It was a great way to start off the morning. After getting ready we went and picked up my mom and went to Kaylee's volleyball game. It was fun to watch and they are definitely showing improvement. Kaylee was always in the ready position but didn't always move towards the ball. Still fun to watch anyway! She enjoys playing and that's all that matters.
Kaylee and her friend Ally
Looking forward to a less chaotic week with Sean home. I almost didn't survive last week!

Coed Softball fun!
This may be a boring post because unfortunately I have no pictures to go with it but I had to write it down since this is the only journal I keep. Sean and I have been playing on a coed softball team together for the last month and it has been so much fun. Our team name is Full Tilt construction sponsored by our friend, Paul Lockwood. I really enjoy playing softball and having my hubby there to play with me is a extra bonus. He has played catcher for me while I pitch and it is so much fun. We play with a few other couples and our last game is on Friday. I will be sad to see it end so soon especially since the womens league I play with is over too. It is getting pretty chilly outside so I guess it's that time. Hopefully we can play together again next year.........

Cierra's Special Day
Today Cierra was Baptized and she was glowing all day. She was so excited last night she could hardly sleep.
Grandma and Grandpa Newbold took her shopping for a CTR ring yesterday and she thought it was the best ever. She kept saying she had to look at it every 5 seconds because it was so beautiful. She enjoyed all the attention she got and she fully deserved it. Sean's family wasn't able to come but they sent her cute little gifts that she loved too. They were all missed.
This is the crew that I love so much!
The proud daddy
"Auntie" and Cierra
Me and the special girl!
Three generations!
Cierra with her friend Kayla and Meaghan
Cierra with her other friend Brynnley. She was very happy to have her friends come and see her baptized.
After the baptism we ran over to watch the last half of Connor's soccer game, which they won and then we told Cierra she could pick anywhere she wanted to go for lunch. Well, that was a mistake. For Sean, he absolutely hates Old Country Buffet and would rather not eat at all then eat there and for me that is a body bugger does not do well with buffets. But to please our daughter we went anyways and it is just as I remember it.
