Christmas Rush Fun Run!

The week after we got back from Hawaii we(me, cierra, my mom and dad, Mindy, Doug, Chance, Austin and Shay)participated in the Christmas Rush 5k. We nearly froze to death, but it was still fun. I decided to walk it with my mom and Mindy went with Cierra.(Cierra runs much better if I'm not there nagging her!) This was my mom and dads first 5k. I'm so proud of their accomplishment. They just signed up to do a half marathon with Mindy and I in April. i can't wait.

Most of Cierra's run club was running it too. This is great motivation to her and I love seeing all the girls out there together. We are doing another 5k this Saturday if all the snow melts.

HAPPY 12 YEARS TO US!!!

Sean and I celebrated our 12th wedding anniversary on December 17th.(I know I'm a little late, but better late than never, right?)
We had our ward Christmas party on that night so we took the kids and had a great Luau dinner. Sean surprised me by talking to Santa ahead of time and giving him a dozen roses to give to me from him. It was very sweet.
A few days after that Sean took me on a fun little getaway to the Woodmark Hotel in Kirkland. It was right on Lake Washington and was so pretty. We had a fabulous time and a wonderful dinner. I'm very grateful to have my parents that watched our kids while we were gone.
Sean and I have had our moments but I love him more everyday. I am so grateful for him and the love and support he provides me and the kids. I can't wait to spend forever with him.

No School!

Today was a no school day due to about 6 inches of snow that fell last night. We got to have some fun today and Sean even got the day off. I don't really like the cold weather, but all my kids do. They were outside almost all day! We are all snuggled in to have some family movie time now!
The Gailey's kept Connor, Cierra and Brooke last night and they enjoyed play in the snow with them. We went to my parents to play with the Quad's and the Razor also.
