A few weeks ago, my sister, mom and myself went on a little trip to Ocean Shores for a few days. It was much needed time away from our busy lives and I was so grateful to be able to go. Thank you mom for making this happen. You are so good to us! We appreciate all you do.
The weather couldn't have been better and we enjoyed walking on the beach and finding shells for the kids.
There is a story behind this picture but to cut it short I will say this......I was at 11.8 miles in my 12 mile run and I came upon 10 deer staring me down. I whip out my cell phone and call my mom and sister to come and save me. They hopped in the car and were there in a few minutes. Luckily they got a little spooked and took off. I ran like mad the .2 miles back to the house. I was freakin'!
