Kelli's Bridal Shower

I went to a Bridal shower for a friend last night and it was a lot of fun. Kelli got a ton of great stuff, she was a little embarrassed by some of the gifts. It was funny to see her turn bright red. She met a great guy and I am so happy for them. They are getting married in the Portland Temple on August 21st.

Here is all of us for the group shot:
Jen, myself and Marci! great friends:)

Catch up time in no particular order:

Kaylee got a new violin and is so excited to start practicing again for the new year. It needs to be tuned, though. Anyone know how to do that??

Our family met the Grendell's in Olympia for a awesome fireworks show last night. The fireworks were amazing and it was a perfect night for it.

Last week or maybe the week before(who knows? all my days are running together) Connor had his baseball party and he got a cool new trophy to add to his collection. His team took 2nd place overall and did a great job considering most of the boys on the team were playing up a year.Coach Paul!
The kittens are doing great. They are fun to have around and they love each other. they will meow if that can't find one another and they are always playing together. They like to sleep very close to each other too.

Connor went to Scout camp all last week. He had a great time. His favorite part was the BB guns and the archery but he did many things and he was very tired by the time he came home each night.

The last day, we came to have lunch with Connor and watch the water games and the skits. Cierra and Brooke did the water stuff as well and loved it.

Cierra and Brooke had a little present at the door the other day and when they opened it, they found these cute dresses. "Auntie" Mim whipped up these dresses for the girls and dropped them by with a nice little card. Mim is not really their aunt but the girls call her that and she loves when they come up and give her hugs at church so she wanted to give them a little thank you gift. She is so sweet!

Utah Trip 2009

Finally after a week and a half I am blogging about our fun trip to Utah. It has been very busy since we been home. Sean had to go on a work trip as soon as we got back and just got home last night. That always makes for a fun week for me.
Anyways, here is a whole bunch a pictures. They are all in order except for these first two.

Julie and Aaron just had their 3rd child late last night and I am so excited to have a new niece.

This girl is so awesome. We get along like we have been sisters from birth. I love and miss you, Julie!

This is the first Hotel we stayed in on our way to Utah. The kids loved it. They had a huge pool with a big movie screen that they were able to watch Disney channel while they swam.

Kaylee, Brooke and Jessica hanging out on the back porch at the the Parker's. Kaylee and Jessica were texting each other even though they were 2 feet away!

Sean and Alan after a hard game of racquetball!

This is the rec center in Bountiful. They have such fun rec centers in Utah. We need one like this here.

Kaylee and Kim-by other favorite sister in law. It was so hard leaving at the end of our trip. She is so fun to be around.

Brooke, Emma and Stephen

4th of July Breakfast

Faye and Kent at the parade.

The kids having cotton candy before the parade starts.(don't tell Julie. she doesn't like to give her kids sweets-oops. luckily for Stephen, I was in charge)

Cierra took this picture. Sean looks mad and she almost cut me off but I thought it was cute.

Nothing like a Utah Parade. They not only throw a ton of candy, but beads as well.

and stuffed animals.

I was so excited to run into by great friend, Kim Nay. I miss her so much and wish she still lived her. I'm glad I got to see her but I wish we could have spent more time together.

Sean standing by his old school. It has changed a lot since he went here back in the day.

Connor was letting off some big BOOMS!!!

ok, this is me looking like an idiot. I got a little scared going down this big slide.

Kaylee and Jessie

Johnny and Danny-don't ask me which is which. They hate their pictures taken and I kept tormenting them. I love Sean in the background.

Me and Cierra battling it out. I needed this, especially with her.

I won.

Fireworks time!

After all the festivities we needed to clean these dirty children.

Right before church!

My two handsome boys!

Connor is a monkey and will climb any tree he can get into. This is in Kim's backyard.

All the grandkids except Aaron who is on a mission and will be home next month and then Janna and Blake who were on vacation. We missed seeing them.

This in Oregon on our way home. We stayed in a hotel and we were just getting ready to finish the last leg of our trip!
We had a wonderful time. We did see Wayne, Lois and Carrie and her family but I forgot my camera. That was a bummer. I wished we could have seen them more but our time was very limited on this trip. Hopefully we will be back soon!
The only thing that went wrong on this trip was that on the way there we(meaning me, since I was driving) ran out of gas. My fauly, but we made it to this litle town that didn't ahve a gas station so we had to go to the tow repair shop were they robbed us blind by charging us 112.00 for 3 gallons of gas. I was so mad but what can you do? We had no other options. It sucked, big time! Sean was pretty mad but about 10 miles down the road we were laughing about it.
